Sorry for the lack of a post…finals have been pretty stressful. The best thing about this past week has been the Beyoncé album. If you haven’t listen to any of it please go do yourself a favor and do so now.
Back? Life changed? Yeah, that’s what I thought. I love Pretty Hurts, XO, Partition, ***Flawless, and Heaven from the album the most.
I’m a Beyoncé fan girl…I tell my friends she’s my spirit animal.
I believe that Beyoncé is one of the greatest role models for women. She’s up there on my list with Kate Middleton, Audrey Hepburn, Jennifer Lawrence, and my mom (hey mom!). But she really is amazing…here’s why:
– She’s herself, and if you don’t like that…well hater’s gonna hate.
– She has her own career and life, and a man who supports her through it all. She proves that you can be a terrific woman, wife, mother, career-woman, and person without having to sacrifice yourself.
– She can be sexy and rocking, but womanly and graceful too.
– She’s a feminist and shows women young and old to believe in yourself and be a strong woman.
She’s a role model, in my opinion, to all women.
